St Stephen’s Basilica in Budapest is not only famous for its stunning architecture, but also for its short but nice Monday Organ Concerts, and longer, more impressive Thursday Concerts, and Friday Organ Concerts in Budapest. The organ concerts also feature singers and instrumental musicians (e.g. trumpet). The concert’s repertoire includes works of Albinoni, Bach, Caccini, Mozart, Schubert, Bizet, Gounod, Rachmaninoff, Cesar Franck and Ferenc Liszt (Franz Liszt, the Hungarian composer and pianist genius).

St Stephen Basilica Seating Plan

On Monday concerts you can sit anywhere in the Basilica, there are no ticket categories, nor numbered seats (as opposed to the longer Thursday and Friday concerts), instead unnumbered pews. Arrive a bit before the concert to get a good seat in the first two rows.
